Cathleen A. Coty

Beloved Cathy (CAC) Coty 65 years of age, passed away suddenly on October 27, 2024.

Cathy was born April 23, 1959 to Harold and Irene Coty in Puyallup, Washington.  She was the fifth of seven children.  Cathy graduated from Puyallup High School in 1977 and was a graduate of Clover Park Vocational Dental program.  Cathy was employed as an Oral Surgical Assistant and worked many years at Oral Surgical Associates in Tacoma as well as Dr. Rick Edwards Oral Surgical office in Federal Way.  Cathy also worked in the financial field until she opted to become a Nanny to help her nieces with daycare while they worked.  Cathy was a huge part of the daily lives of her great niece Jordan Adams and great nephews: Bryson Mack, Phoenix Adams and Devyn Mack.

Cathy was proceeded in death by her parents, grandparents as well as her brother, Thomas Gerard Coty.

Cathy is survived by her four brothers:  Harold (Val), Dan, Mike (Jan), Bob (Terri) and one sister Cheryl (Kirby) Qualls.  Cathy is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews: Christopher (Christina) Coty, Melissa (Bob) Hunter, Casey Coty, Kit Coty. Nichole (Frank Beavers) Bond, Kim (Aaron) Nelson, Bobbie (Matt) McGill, Tony (Tara) Wolfe, Renae Qualls, Rachelle (Cristian) Adams & Tommy Qualls. She is also survived by 8 great nephews, 5 great nieces, numerous relatives and close friends.

Cathy was a fun, free spirited woman who loved adventure.  She shared her bright smile and caring personality with everyone.  She loved to cook and bake and made every holiday special.  She also enjoyed decorating for the holidays inside and out.  She loved children and loved being a part of their lives.  She took joy in celebrating everyone’s birthdays where her traditions brought laughter and excitement for all. Cathy was very special and will forever be known as everyone’s Aunt CAC and will be missed by everyone that had the pleasure to get to know her.

Funeral Mass and Celebration of  Life to be held November 23, 2024 at 11:00 am at All Saints Catholic Church, 503 Third Street SW, Puyallup, WA 98371.
