Carl Joseph Chop Sr

Carl Joseph Chop Sr, 89, of Puyallup, Washington, passed away on 10 February 2022.Carl was born on 25 February 1932 to Walter and Matilda in Kansas City, Kansas. After Carl graduated from Wyandotte High School in 1950 he went onto study Political Science, Mathematics, and Physiology at the University of Kansas.After graduation with a degree in Political Science he started his first job at the United States Air Force as first an Aircraft Mechanic and finally a Flight Engineer, kick starting a 33 year career in the Aviation Field where he served during the Korean War and the Vietnam War.In 1952, Carl met Evangeline Theresa Collins at Madawaska, Maine. Carl and Evangeline went on to have 5 Children, Carl J. Chop Jr, Theresa A. Johnson, Mark C. Chop, Michael A. Chop, and Dianne M. Chop.In 1987, Carl retired from the United States Air Force, then retired from The Boeing Company in 1995 and spent his time building model airplanes, collecting coins and stamps.He is predeceased by his parents, Walter and Matilda of Kansas City, Kansas, his sister Natalie Sova of Kansas City, Kansas, and Grandson Benjamin J. Chop of Spanaway, Washington.He is survived by his Wife Evangeline of 68 years, son Carl J Chop Jr, daughter Theresa A. Johnson, son Mark C. Chop, son Michael A. Chop, daughter Dianne M. Chop, son in law Ronald W. Johnson, daughter in law Christina H. Chop,  son in law Nick A, Fouquette, 8 Grandchildren, Kristi L. Muns, Kurt M. Johnson, Nicole E. Fawcett, Tyler J. Fawcett, Aubrie M. Fouquette, Sophie J. Fouquette, Reagan F. Blessner, Logan P. Blessner. 1 great grandchild, Zavier E. Heubner, grand son in law Garry R. Muns II, and many friends and family.
