Candace Mae - (Coats) Corey

July 3, 1947 — January 26, 2018

Candace Mae Coats Corey, age 70, was called home unexpectedly, by her Lord, on Friday, January 26th 2018, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Puyallup, Washington. She was born in Superior, Wisconsin on July 3rd 1947; the daughter of Claude and Doris (Vacha) Coats of Iron River, Wisconsin. She graduated from Hudsonville High School, Michigan, in 1965. She attended Prairie Bible Institute, Three Hills, Alberta, and Cedarville College, Ohio. She graduated from Tacoma General School of Nursing and received her Bachelors of Science degree, in Nursing, from Pacific Lutheran University, Tacoma. She especially loved flowers, sharing them with everyone and became a Master Gardener. Candace is lovingly survived by her husband Michael and children: Tanya (Kieth) Bates, Trevor Coats Parker, Jonathan M.J. (Selena) Corey, David A.E. Corey and Dinel Konrad; grandchildren: Micah Parker Bates, Brittany Bates and Aydin Bates and Kenidee and Malachai Coats-Parker; greatgrandchildren: Emma, Hannah and Aubrey; sister Sue Darwin of Verona, Wisconsin; and aunt Betty Fleser, of Zeeland, Michigan. She was loved by many. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, February 24th, at 1:00PM at Mt View Memorial Park: 4100 Steilacoom Blvd. SW, Lakewood WA. Donations in her name, in lieu of flowers, may be made to Cannon Beach Conference Center (https://cbcc.webconnex.com/memorials). You are dearly loved and will be greatly missed by your family and friends. Her memory is our keepsake with which we will not part; God has her in his keeping, we have her in our hearts.
