Bruce M. Creamer, 74, of Puyallup, Washington, passed away peacefully at home on May 27, 2024. Born on September 15, 1949, in Tacoma, Washington, Bruce lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love.
Bruce grew up in Tacoma and attended Franklin Pierce High School. After graduation, he served his country with honor in the U.S. Navy for two years, participating in the Vietnam War. Continuing his commitment to the nation, Bruce became an officer in the U.S. Army, serving for over 20 years and participating in the Desert Storm War.
Following his distinguished military career, Bruce dedicated another 20 years to serving his community as a law enforcement officer for the city of Seattle, retiring as a Sergeant in 2014.
Bruce was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle. He is survived by his devoted spouse, Karen Creamer; his children, Bradley (and his wife, Anna) and Leslie; and his grandchildren, Ryan, Gabriel, Aria, and Katia. He is also survived by his sister, Lynette, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Dorothy Creamer, his sisters, Karen and Sandy, and his brother, Kenneth.
A memorial service will be held to honor Bruce's life and legacy on June 11, 2024, @ 9:00 am at the Tahoma National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Seattle Police Foundation, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, or the American Cancer Society in Bruce’s memory.
Bruce will be deeply missed by all who knew him, and his legacy of service and love will continue to inspire those who were fortunate to have known him.
