Brian John Cruz

August 1, 1961 — September 23, 2022

Brian John Cruz passed away on September 23rd, 2022, surrounded by his beloved wife and children. Brian was born to Anna and the late Joseph Cruz on August 1st, 1961. He deeply loved Jesus, his family and lived a life dedicated to his family and community. His passion to protect others was reflected in his service to the US Army in the esteemed 2nd Ranger Battalion and his 28-year career as a Pierce County Deputy.

His laughter was recognizable anywhere and his smile was unmatched. He was not only loved and adored by his wife and children, but fiercely loved by his grand babies. Brian was an avid gym attendee, who went to work out and socialize. He was such a kind spirit and everyone’s best friend.
