November 26, 1926 — December 1, 2017

Beverlee A. Piccolo Beverlee Piccolo, age 91, of Puyallup, WA, passed away December 1st, 2017 at home. Beverlee was born to Arthur and Ethel Gaffney on November 26, 1926 in Hoquim. She lived with her parents in Hoquim, WA while she was growing up. She had no siblings. After high school she attended college working towards a nursing degree. She met Leonard Piccolo through her aunt and they fell in love. Beverlee married the love of her life Leonard, after he served time helping the war effort in WWII. They lived in Tacoma, raising a family of 3. They had 2 sons and one daughter (Kris, Pat and Kathie). She was a stay at home mom, but often volunteered time at the hospital and did much charity work through all Saints Catholic church. All her children married and they enjoyed numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In 1984 they sold the farm, as they called it, and moved to a smaller place in Puyallup. She loved her daily trips with her husband to the foothills of Mount Rainier to hike, cut firewood, and pick wild mushrooms. She did this until her husband's health as well as her own declined in his mid 80's. Leonard passed away in 2012, and she lived in a adult family home until her death December 1, 2017. She loved to garden and cook and did this well into her 80's. The funeral will be at 11:00 am, on Friday, December 15, 2017, at All Saints Catholic Church in Puyallup. The reception will be across the street at the parish hall after the funeral.
