Betty Warner

Betty L. Warner, 92 passed on September 25, 2024 in Puyallup, WA.

Born on September 8, 1932 in Endicott, NY to Howard and Pearl (Holden) Maas.  Betty graduated from Harper College (now SUNY - Binghamton) as valedictorian in 1954.  From there she was a primary school teacher moving to Cleveland, OH where she met and married her husband , James C. Warner, (passed in July 1994) in 1961.  Following her husband’s career, she moved to Puyallup in 1974, where she raised her daughters, was active in church as a long-term choir member and eventually worked for Pierce County’s Head Start Program.  In addition, she loved to garden, cook and knit.

She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Warner (Puyallup, WA) and Stephanie Warner (Seattle, WA) and numerous nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on October 26, 2024 at 1 pm at the Puyallup United Methodist Church.  In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Puyallup United Methodist Church.
