Bernard H. Rose Was born December 25, 1924 in Tacoma, WA. Living in Edgewood and Milton his entire life, he attended Fife High School before being drafted into the Army and laying front lines wire for communications in Italy during WWII. He stated the best trip of his life was when he was flown September 2014 on an Honor Flight to visit the WWII Memorial in Washington D.C. On November 24, 1948, he married Louise Hanson who survives him along with their son Marvin (Kandus); granddaughters Kimberly and Heather Johnson (Scott); and great-grandson Kier Johnson. His family, camping, and helping others were his pleasures. He retired as the supervisor of the Ft. Lewis Water Plant. He died November 14, 2017, in Milton, WA.
