Barbara M Best

Barbara Mae Best went home to be with Jesus and her other family that preceded her in death on June 15th, 2018. She is survived by her 5 sons, 7 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and a multitude of additional family and friends. She was born on September 26th, 1933 in Maryland. Her father and grandparents were German immigrants, and she was very proud to be a 1st generation American. She lived her life for the Lord and her family. She loved to sing, and was in church choirs all over the country throughout her life. Barbara was the strongest woman most of us will ever know and she will be greatly missed by all she touched. A memorial service will be held July 1st, 2018 at 2:00 pm at the Orting Lions Club. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that a donation to your favorite church or charity be made in Barbara's name. Arrangements by Powers Funeral Home.
