Angeline Regina (Berger) Ternes Angeline Regina (Berger) Ternes, 83, passed away Saturday, January 5, 2019 at home in Tacoma, WA. "Angie" was born April 2, 1935 to John and Francis (Beehler) Berger in Fort Yates, ND. She and her siblings were educated at Fort Yates Country School. Angie met her husband Emil Ternes at a dance featuring polkas and accordion music. They were married on October 19, 1953 at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Fort Yates, ND. After living many years on the family farm south of Raleigh, ND, Emil and Angie moved their family of ten to Tacoma, WA in 1966. Angie made the endless task of raising eight children seem effortless. She enjoyed cooking, gardening and working outside, quilting, dancing, and spending time with family and friends. She was a devout Catholic and served on the St. Martin of Tours Altar Society and was a member of the Quilting Club. Angie had a rewarding career working for Marblique (10 yrs) and The Boeing Company (20 yrs). Angie is survived by her children: Milo, Bonney Lake; Zonita Crawford, Tacoma; Garcia (Chris), Puyallup; Kevin, Lakewood; Cheryl (Willie) Burnett, Tacoma; Willis, Puyallup; Bruce (Trina) Milton; Patrick, Milton (all in Washington); one sibling: Josephine (Don) Ripplinger, Mandan, ND; seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends from every walk of life. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Emil of nearly 59 years, her father and mother John and Francis Berger, and ten siblings: Markus, Agatha, Barbra, Adam, Florene, Pete, Veronica, Edward, William, and Hilda.
