On May 26th at 0010 hours, Andrew Gabriel Anderson was ordered by the Supreme Commandant to report to the gates of Heaven and accept his new duty assignment. Andy was born in Shanghai, China on March 8, 1935. At the age of 17, he joined the Marine Corps and served for over 27 years. He entered service as a Private “E1” and only after obtaining the rank of Master Gunnery Sergeant “E9”, having reached the pinnacle of the enlisted ranks, he accepted a commission as a Chief Warrant Officer “CWO-2”. Andy served his entire career in the intelligence community. He served in the Korean War and two tours in Vietnam, receiving recognition for devoted service. Upon his retirement, he dedicated himself to working within the community. He focused on the needs of children: Building parks, Toys for Tots’, Marine Corps League, and many other philanthropic causes.
Andy is survived by his loving wife Michaela and two daughters, Denise McMillen (Ken), Annette Davis (John), and grandchildren Kenny, Johnny, Alan and Stephanie, Nieces Diana and Helena Moissiant, Grand Niece Violet, and Grand Nephew Alexander.
