Served in the US Army as a Military Police Officer in the canine handler division. He started his journey with DuPont Fire as a volunteer until Al was hired into a career position. Albert became the longest standing member with his volunteer and career time combined at DuPont, serving for over 20 years until his retirement earlier this year. His team describes him as, “not only a co-worker, but a mentor, friend, and part of our fire family. Al was the first one to call out your BS and the first one to pick you up when you needed a hand.” His wife Tina describes him as, “A steady pillar. He was my protector, voice of reason, my best friend, and I will forever be grateful to have spent the time I did with such a loving and thoughtful man.”
